Beauty in Black History Month

There is so much to celebrate during the month of our black ancestry! Although February is a short month, the day of love, Valentines Day, falls in the middle of this month every year and it can remind people of all colors, that love has no limitations. Even among animals, each year we remember the chains and humiliation we have grown from over the past century. Though, much of these instances are not forgotten, there is a beauty in forgiving our counterparts and elevating to another level of love. As Dr. King said, hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that; we must remember that along with the tribulations of black history, love was a large portion of where we are now and is the center of what helped us come so far.
